Neilston Bobbins and Threads were established in 2002 by a small group of individuals who wished to bring together the community by their involvement with the Neilston Mill.

The group are mostly former employees of the Neilston Mill. and is a recollection of their memories of how the mill was a major part of the village life and their lives.

The group intends to produce a book about the mill and regularly exhibits the photographs and memorabilia of the Crofthead Mill and the jobs it created in the village of Neilston
